Entering her 29th year as a real estate appraiser, Megan is the owner of Metropolis Real Estate solutions, LLc, a full service brokerage and appraisal firm. She has been appraising residential properties in Central Florida and is a court appointed expert, regular instructor at the Orlando regional realtor association and orange county bar association, as well lecturer for private groups throughout central florida and online. Megan has been managing her own appraisal firm since 2001, she is experienced in performing all types of appraisals on all types of residential properties, but gets the biggest charge out of communicating what she knows with others.

Appraisal basics exists to answer the questions that arise over and over from agents, homeowners, attorneys, and even other appraisers. After years of witnessing how frustrated the users of appraisals are with appraisers and the appraisal reports themselves, it dawned on megan that having a central location, where the answers are plentiful and comprehensive, could help bridge the gap between appraisers and the public.
